Desktop and laptop computers?
would it be better to get an laptop or top of line desktop computer. i have an desktop computer now an love it. i am more at home than anything there has not been much of time i had say it would be nice to be somewhere else on the computer. i like the keyboards looks on laptops better. money is not an factor. also like to hear from people that went from desktops to laptops?

What brand of laptop computer is recommended?
I am saving up for a laptop and I would like some suggestions on good brands that I could look at. I have heard that Toshiba laptops are top of the line and they last quite well. I have heard that the new Macintosh laptops are not as durable as others might be. I have heard from several people that DELL really stinks when it comes to their laptop computers. Sony Vaio has also worked well for some people I know. What brands do you recommend? Which brands have the better quality overall performance and least issues with hardware and software? I am wanting this laptop to last a while.I have just heard negative things about Dell laptops from some of my friends who have had negative experience with the product they purchased. Other than those negative things, I have heard that they run just fine.I am particularly looking for something that is easy for me to carry, I can see the screen well, has a CD DVD reader built in, has USB ports I can plug my flash stick into, has a plug in for a mouse. I have looked at net books and they are great in terms of portability but they do not have a CD DVD reader built into them and the screen is too tiny for me to see.
